Job summary

WAHVE LLC is seeking experienced insurance professionals to work from home in a long-term remote role. The position focuses on Commercial Lines underwriting with opportunities across general liability, property, workers' compensation, cyber, and more, primarily serving the New England market.

Candidates should have extensive Commercial Lines P&C experience and a proven track record in risk assessment, underwriting decisions, and portfolio management.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in insurance.
• 10 most recent years of Commercial Lines Property & Casualty experience.
• Experience in the New England territory.
• Underwriting and risk selection experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and thorough risk selection with proper classification of insureds.
• Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and/or renewal business with focus on book management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation following guidelines.
• Achieve acceptable underwriting profit levels within assigned book of business.
