Job summary

WAHVE LLC is seeking experienced insurance professionals to work from home in a long-term remote role covering Middle Market Commercial Lines underwriting. The position emphasizes risk selection, pricing decisions, and portfolio management for clients such as carriers, MGAs, and wholesale brokers in the New England region.

Ideal candidates have significant Commercial Lines P&C experience and can operate in a flexible, virtual team environment with benefits including health insurance and a 401(k)

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate and thorough risk selection with proper classification of insureds.
• Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage alternatives, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and/or renewal business with focus on book management.
• Develop and maintain superior relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Achieve acceptable underwriting profit levels within assigned book of business.
