WAHVE LLC is seeking a seasoned Commercial Lines Underwriter to work from home, supporting New England carrier, MGA, or wholesale broker clients. The role emphasizes risk selection, pricing decisions, and portfolio management for middle-market commercial lines.

Ideal candidates bring 25 years of full-time insurance experience, with at least 10 years in Commercial Lines P&C, and are comfortable operating in a remote team with flexible full- or part-time schedules.

Qualifications

• 25 years of full-time work experience in Commercial Lines Property & Casualty insurance
• 10 years of experience in Commercial Lines P&C required
• Experience with New England territory preferred

Responsibilities

• Conduct accurate risk selection with proper insured classification.
• Make critical underwriting decisions on risk acceptability, coverage, and pricing.
• Manage a portfolio of new and renewal business with a focus on book management.
• Develop and maintain relationships with producers, brokers, and reinsurers.
• Maintain accurate file documentation in accordance with company guidelines.
• Aim for underwriting profitability within the book of business.
