Five9 is seeking a results-driven Mid-Market Sales Director to directly acquire new customers and drive revenue across the United States. This individual contributor role focuses on closing a mix of enterprise and transactional deals, with a strong emphasis on building a robust pipeline and meeting quotas.

Remote work is supported for candidates outside the office radius, while local candidates may join a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• 7+ years of outside enterprise contact center software or CRM sales experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced, changing environment.
• Experience selling at the C-level.
• Proven track record of sales excellence.
• A proven sales hunter and closer.
• Superior professional presence and business acumen.

Responsibilities

• Create and drive revenue within a specified region or named accounts.
• Generate business opportunities through networking and cold-calling.
• Drive brand awareness, campaigns, and lead generation via networking and associations.
• Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas.
• Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure.
• Develop business plan and present the plan during quarterly reviews.
• Maintain account and opportunity forecasting in SFDC.
• Self-generate leads from personal connections and events.
• Ensure 100% customer satisfaction and retention through implementation and support.
