Job summary

Vonage is seeking a Mid-Market Account Executive for New Business (API/CPaaS) who can work from home in the United States. You will drive new business, engage with senior-level stakeholders, and champion Vonage CPaaS solutions to high-growth digital and cloud software companies.

The role emphasizes hunter sales, pipeline generation, and cross-functional collaboration. We value 5+ years in Mid-Market tech sales, strong prospecting, and experience with Pre-Sales.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of Mid-Market tech sales, SaaS, Cloud or API-based communications.
• Proven prospecting, lead gen and networking success.
• Strong executive relationship-building across biz, marketing and tech.
• Experience collaborating with PreSales Consultants.
• Proactive, creative, curious and able to work independently or with teams.
• Solution-oriented sales across the full delivery lifecycle.
• Experience in mobile messaging/voice, cloud services or mobile tech.
• Experience designing CPaaS solutions with pre-sales teams.

Responsibilities

• Drive opportunities through the full sales cycle; 100% hunter role.
• Apply a value-focused, solution-oriented sales methodology.
• Grow API/CPaaS adoption in Mid-Market in the AMER region.
• Own cross-functional opportunity management from Pre-Sale to Customer Success.
• Develop pipeline expansion opportunities and land new target accounts.
• Lead compelling Vonage CPaaS presentations to executives and ICs.
• Provide timely forecasts and visibility on revenue via pipeline.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams to navigate complex sales cycles.
