Job summary

SMX is seeking a highly motivated Software Engineer - Front End Web Application to design, build, and support the BAS solution. This remote role supports a Washington, DC based customer and requires Public Trust clearance.

You will work on SAC Analytics Designer based web apps, building interactive UI/UX components, and ensuring scalable front-end performance for enterprise BI and planning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of front-end web development experience with JavaScript, HTML5, CSS.
• Experience creating and consuming REST APIs with JSON/XML.
• U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Build enterprise planning and reporting applications using SAC Analytics Cloud or other web technologies such as JavaScript.
• Review application requirements and interface designs.
• Develop and implement highly interactive UI/UX components.
• Monitor and improve front-end performance.
• Document application changes and developing updates.
• Provide feedback on the technical feasibility of UI/UX designs.
• Optimize web applications for scalability and speed.
• Participate in code reviews and communicate effectively with team members.
