Job summary

Beacon Hill is seeking an experienced Systems Engineer to support, automate, and improve a Microsoft-focused cloud environment. You will work across M365, Azure, Entra ID, Intune, and Power Platform, crafting scripts and low-code solutions to reduce manual work.

The role blends hands-on administration with automation, DevOps-like pipelines, and cross-team collaboration, with a remote-friendly setup in the United States.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or comparable technical experience.
• 5+ years of systems engineering or similar IT infrastructure experience.
• 3+ years hands-on with Microsoft 365, Entra ID/Azure AD, and Intune.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps and Power Automate.
• Familiarity with Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse.
• PowerShell or similar scripting for automation; documentation of configurations.
• Familiarity with backup and recovery technologies; Agile/DevOps awareness.
• Strong troubleshooting, independent work ethic, and clear communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Microsoft 365 and cloud-based services.
• Support Azure, Entra ID, and Intune environments.
• Automate routine IT processes and user onboarding.
• Develop low-code solutions using Power Apps, Power Automate, and Logic Apps.
• Support Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement and Dataverse components.
• Develop PowerShell scripts to automate tasks; maintain pipelines in Azure DevOps.
• Monitor log aggregation and security tools like Splunk and Microsoft Sentinel.
• Assist with backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity technologies.
• Document configurations and changes; collaborate across teams on improvements.
