Job summary

UNFI is seeking a Mgr Merch Execution Lead to aggressively manage merchandising strategy for assigned categories, including product assortment, costs, promotions, and shelf allocation to drive regional sales.

You will lead vendor relationships, manage the funding checkbook, and collaborate with Sales, Procurement, and Marketing to optimize assortment, pricing, and planogram execution while controlling inventory and margin. Remote role with up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in Merchandising Execution Management.
• Retail and/or vendor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Train and mentor new Merch Execution managers.
• Lead department initiatives and cross-team communication.
• Represent the Department and Region in corporate initiatives.
• Initiate and implement new sales-driving opportunities.
• Participate in interviews and hiring.
