Job summary

UNFI in Los Angeles is seeking a Mgr Merch Execution Lead to aggressively manage merchandising strategy for assigned categories, including product assortment, costs, promotions, and shelf allocation to drive sales for regional retail customers. The role leads vendor relationships and funds management to maximize margin.

You'll train other Merch Execution managers, collaborate across teams, and guide planograms, pricing, and promotional planning.

Qualifications

• 5+ years Merchandising Execution Management experience with category management tools.
• Retail or vendor experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead training of Merch Execution managers and mentor staff.
• Direct department/region initiatives and ensure successful implementation.
• Represent the department in corporate initiatives and cross-team projects.
• Identify and implement new sales opportunities via merchandising.
• Analyze financial metrics and manage vendor funds and costs.
