United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) seeks a Manager Merch Execution Lead to aggressively manage merchandising strategy for assigned categories, including assortment, costs, promotions, and shelf allocation to boost sales for regional retail customers.

You will oversee vendor relationships and the vendor funding checkbook, lead category item assortment decisions, and drive margin improvements across multiple desks and departments. Remote work is supported with up to 70% travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5 years Merchandising Execution Management experience with category management tools.
• Retail or vendor experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Train and mentor new Merch Execution managers.
• Lead department or regional initiatives and drive successful implementations.
• Manage vendor relationships and the vendor funding program to optimize sales and margins.
• Forecast, plan, and execute merchandising programs and promotions.
• Collaborate with sales, procurement, and warehouse teams to meet service levels.
• Oversee plan-o-gram execution and timely item launches in collaboration with Retail teams.
