The American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA) seeks a Senior Manager, Membership Marketing to lead the membership marketing strategy and end-to-end lifecycle campaigns across email, web, and digital channels. The role partners with the Membership, Product, and Marketing teams and may manage staff, with a focus on retention, renewal, and member engagement in a fully remote environment.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in B2C subscription or membership-based marketing.
• Proven retention and renewal improvements.
• Experience with marketing automation platforms (HubSpot preferred).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Develop the marketing strategy for membership acquisition, engagement, and retention; improve renewal rates and reduce churn.
• Build and optimize scalable lifecycle campaigns; plan and execute integrated campaigns across email, web, and digital channels; own calendars and timelines.
• Analyze engagement trends and churn drivers; implement testing frameworks; track retention, renewal, and campaign effectiveness.
• Develop audience segmentation based on behavior and engagement; deliver targeted messaging across lifecycle stages.
• Collaborate with Membership, Product, and Marketing to improve the end-to-end member experience; align strategy and messaging across teams.
• Evaluate and pilot new channels (e.g., SMS, push) to increase engagement; support go-to-market for membership offerings.
