Job summary

Nuvision Credit Union is hiring a Remote Call Center - Member Contact Center Representative I. You will handle member inquiries via phone, email, web, and mail, processing deposits, loan payments, and basic online banking support while meeting service standards.

Requirements include a high school diploma and about 1 year of retail/service experience, plus solid communication, empathy, and teamwork. Competitive pay and benefits are provided.

Qualifications

• 1 year retail experience with a proven track record in meeting and or exceeding service and sales goals.
• Basic understanding of financial products and services
• Professional verbal skills and etiquette
• Competent computer knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft applications (Word, Outlook and Excel), remote signing and ability to work and operate a webcam
• Excellent follow up
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively listen, understand, and anticipate member needs
• Excellent Written skills (Email) – Grammar and Spelling
• Member service and organizational skills
• Work well with other departments – Team player
• Genuine interest in helping members through Conversations that Matter and have an empathetic and caring nature
• Willingness to make a difference

Responsibilities

• Provide efficient and timely service to members via phone, mail, facsimile, as applicable.
• Consult with members, identify needs, offer solutions, and follow up on transactions.
• Recommend other products and services from conversations with members.
• Open new Member Accounts and manage Savings, Checking, Money Market, Trust, Certificates, and IRA.
• Complete appropriate forms and update account setups and beneficiaries.
• Manage changes of address, name changes, and other account maintenance tasks.
• Identify and report suspicious behavior or suspected fraud.
• Complete required training and compliance modules.
• Treat co-workers and members with respect.
• Support continuous improvement activities and represent the Credit Union professionally.
