Qualifications

• 1+ years in sales, retail, or customer service with success in meeting goals.
• Experience in cash handling and balancing cash drawer.
• Excellent verbal communication and outgoing personality.
• Ability to handle confidential information and stay calm under pressure.
• Willing to train; prior credit union/bank teller helpful but not required.

Responsibilities

• Builds and maintains professional relationships with members and colleagues; leverage interpersonal skills to achieve mutually beneficial outcomes.
• First point of contact for members; provide best-in-class service and make informed recommendations to help financial goals.
• Assist members at counter, drive-thru, phone or mail with various transactions; troubleshoot while keeping information confidential.
• Educate members about opportunities to enhance their financial landscape; promote Connexus products, services, policies.
• Complete member transactions accurately and efficiently; adhere to departmental and federal guidelines.
• Operate and balance cash drawer daily with minimal errors.
• Monitor and respond in chat queues to provide a seamless experience across channels.
• Protect assets through risk mitigation, fraud prevention and confidentiality.
• Achieve individual performance goals and contribute to branch targets.
• Take initiative for personal development and stay informed of products and procedures.
