Prosper Global is building a Jobtech Alliance-informed roster to engage senior MEL experts for Africa-focused job creation initiatives. The consultant will design tools, verify data, and translate findings into donor-ready narratives, working closely with our Results Measurement and Inclusivity teams.

Preference for remote engagement with global donors; strong track record with large funders and startups will be highly valued.

Qualifikationen

• 10-15+ years of MEL experience in development contexts.
• Experience with major institutional funders.
• Direct experience with donor verification, compliance, or audits.
• Strong qualitative interviewing skills with founders/platform teams.
• Ability to translate results into donor-ready reporting language.
• Experience with proposal-stage MEL writing.
• Diplomatic but firm communicator able to handle donor questions.
• Familiarity with jobs and livelihoods impact measurement.
• Comfortable working in advisory capacity and with startups.

Aufgaben

• Develop full-employment survey tool and data framework.
• Pilot and test survey tools with data collection partner.
• Revise tools based on pilot findings.
• Update playbooks for indicators and tools.
• Produce and revamp MEL documents for donors.
• Join donor MEL calls and participate in planning.
• Review reported outcomes against supporting evidence.
• Interview startups about support received and impact.
• Prepare and present findings to stakeholders.
