Job summary

EDUCAUSE in the United States (remote) is seeking a Meeting Manager to lead planning, production, and execution of face-to-face events (10-800 attendees) and online conferences, including the Online Annual Conference. You will manage complex project timelines, budgets, and cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional experiences.

Candidates bring 8+ years in meeting planning, a Bachelor’s degree, and strong communication skills. A CMP certification is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in hospitality or related field.
• Minimum eight years in meeting planning in hotel or convention center environments.
• CMP certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and manage the end-to-end event lifecycle from concept to on-site execution.
• Coordinate registration, F&B, AV, floorplans, and vendor logistics.
• Develop and manage event budgets, forecast expenses, and track revenues.
• Lead the conference ops team and facilitate regular meetings.
• Oversee online and in-person conferences, ensuring seamless participant experience.
