Job summary

Visante LLC is seeking a Supervisor, Medication Access Specialist to lead a remote team of medication access professionals. You will oversee daily operations, manage staffing, and guide performance, while coordinating with clinics and clients to ensure compliant, efficient processes.

Responsibilities include reviewing authorizations, conducting benefits investigations, and identifying financial assistance options for patients.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in healthcare or pharmacy access roles.
• Preferred 1 year of supervising or managing staff, scheduling and performance reviews.
• State Board of Pharmacy Technician registration within 6 months of hire.
• Active CPhT certification by PTCB or NHA preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations and staffing for medication access specialists to ensure adequate resources.
• Schedule staff and address workflow gaps to maintain efficiency and service continuity.
• Recruit, hire, evaluate, and retain personnel for a high-performing team.
• Provide coaching, feedback, and professional development to team members.
• Coordinate training, competency assessments, and quality review activities.
• Review authorizations, benefits investigations, and patient financial assistance options.
• Collaborate with clinics and client teams to onboard and train staff.
• Monitor KPIs for patient access, productivity and satisfaction; implement improvements.
• Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and proper documentation in EMR systems.
• Support client onboarding and process improvements with Visante leadership.
