Job summary

Centene Corporation is seeking a strategic program leader to guide the execution of state and national initiatives within the Health Care product portfolio. You will oversee a large, complex budget and drive cross-functional collaboration across finance, analytics, and operations.

The role requires a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years in managed care or related settings, and 3+ years of supervisory experience. A Master’s degree is preferred, with certification in project management advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Lead a team for strategic and operational execution of annual and cross-state plans.
• Manage large, complex budgets supporting health care initiatives.
• Collaborate with finance and analytics to develop cost/benefit analyses and business cases.
• Coordinate multiple project plans into cohesive program timelines.
• Communicate progress and risks to leaders and external audiences.
• Ensure initiatives are delivered on time, within scope and budget.
