Job summary

Humana Inc. is seeking an Associate Actuary, Pricing to set pricing assumptions for Medicare Part D bids and to support product development with cost impact analyses.

You will build and maintain pricing tools and projections of drug utilization to guide pricing, forecasting, bids, and strategic decisions. In this remote role, you will collaborate with pricing, forecasting, clinical, pharmacy, formulary, and finance teams while monitoring regulatory and market changes that affect utilization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• ASA designation (Associate of Society of Actuaries) and MAAA credential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills translating complex topics to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Analyze historical claims, utilization, and market dynamics to forecast pharmacy costs.
• Develop pricing models and tools for standard and custom benefits.
• Collaborate with pricing, forecasting, clinical, and finance teams.
• Monitor external factors like new drug launches and regulatory changes.
• Communicate findings to leadership to support forecasting and planning.
• Influence department strategy with Medicare Part D utilization expertise.
