Job summary

Humana Inc. seeks an Associate Actuary, Pricing to set pricing assumptions for Medicare Part D bids and to advise Product Development on cost impacts of new benefits.

You will develop and maintain pricing tools, analyze historical claims experience and utilization trends, and collaborate with pricing, forecasting, clinical, pharmacy, formulary and finance teams to inform forecasting, budgeting and strategic decisions. Remote position with occasional travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree required.
• ASA designation required.
• MAAA designation preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in setting pricing assumptions for Medicare Part D bids.
• Develop and maintain pricing tools that price standard and custom benefits.
• Forecast drug utilization trends to support pricing, forecasting and bid development.
• Collaborate with pricing, forecasting, clinical, pharmacy, formulary and finance teams.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to business partners and leadership.
