Job summary

ICCU is seeking a remote, semester-long internship to support the Medicare Team. You will initiate outbound calls to prospective members, prequalify leads, and schedule appointments with licensed agents. This role provides exposure to CRM workflows, lead tracking, and HIPAA-compliant client interactions.

You will work with a licensed Medicare agent, gain practical sales insights, and contribute to outreach projects while maintaining confidentiality and professional standards.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s program.
• Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills, especially over the phone.
• Comfortable using CRM systems and lead tracking tools.
• Professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality of client information.
• Willingness to learn about Medicare products, ethical sales practices, and compliance standards.

Responsibilities

• Conduct outbound calls to Medicare-eligible individuals to prequalify and schedule appointments with licensed agents.
• Manage and organize incoming leads from various sources including marketing campaigns, referrals, and outreach efforts.
• Assist licensed agents in maintaining lead databases and appointment calendars.
• Participate in mentorship with a licensed Medicare agent to gain practical insights into client interaction and compliance.
• Support additional administrative and outreach projects as assigned.
