Go Lean Health is seeking a skilled Medical Virtual Assistant (MVA) to support a busy chiropractic clinic's operations remotely. You will manage insurance verification, billing support, denial handling, and reporting while maintaining high accuracy and professional communication.

Ideal applicants are detail-oriented, proactive, and able to own workflows with minimal supervision, using Mac OS and maintaining strong executive presence when coordinating with the care team.

Competenze

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Medical Virtual Assistant
• Experience supporting a US healthcare practice
• Experience with insurance verification, EOBs, claims, denied claims, patient balances, or billing support
• Exposure to CPT and ICD-10 codes
• Strong English communication skills, both written and verbal
• Must be a Mac OS user
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
• Proven leadership, ownership, or high-accountability experience in a previous role

Mansioni

• Verify patient insurance after the patient checks in, typically around 15 minutes after the scheduled appointment time.
• Review denied claims, identify denial reasons, and assist with claim reprocessing.
• Review and process Explanation of Benefits documents, organize and clear EOB backlogs.
• Review outstanding insurance balances and patient account issues, coordinate resolution steps.
• Support claims-related workflows, including Cigna and Veterans Affairs claims, tracking and escalation as needed.
• Assist with vendor payment coordination, including check payments when needed.
• Monitor SOAP note completion, accuracy, and compliance, and flag gaps.
• Track missed and canceled appointments and identify trends affecting revenue and productivity.
• Prepare reports on balances, missed/canceled appointments, EOB backlog, denied claims, and other metrics with insights.
• Facilitate smooth communication between provider, care team, and staff; ensure priorities and updates are shared.
