Job summary

HCA Healthcare, Inc. is seeking a Remote Medical Staff Services Coordinator to support credentialing and privileging for the Division MSSD from a work-from-home setup.

You will review RFC/applications, maintain Cactus records, and ensure access to clinical systems, while coordinating with facilities and leadership. The role requires knowledge of credentialing processes, 2+ years in credentialing, and preferred CPCS/CPMSM certification.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• At least two years medical staff credentialing experience in an acute care or centralized credentialing office setting is preferred.
• Ambulatory surgery experience is preferred.
• CPCS and/or CPMSM Credentialing Certification is preferred.
• Cactus credentialing software is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrates knowledge of bylaws, policies, regulations, and confidentiality.
• Apply credentials evaluation to RFC/applications and re-applications for compliance.
• Provide outreach to obtain missing or incomplete information.
• Prepare summary credentialing reports with flagged concerns for facility review.
• Use Cactus to create and upload communications and update provider records.
• Update scheduling system to match provider data in Cactus.
• Submit eSAF access requests for IDs and changes as instructed.
• Escalate situations to leadership when guidance is needed.
