Job summary

Spectrum-Medical-Partners is seeking a Facility Credentialing Specialist to coordinate credentialing and privileging for physicians and other licensed professionals across SNFs, ALFs, LTACHs, IRFs, and other post-acute facilities. This remote role requires residency in FL or GA and offers full-time work from home with standard hours.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of healthcare administrative experience required.
• Credentialing, medical staff services, provider enrollment, or healthcare operations experience preferred.
• Extreme tech proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and Adobe Acrobat.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate credentialing and privileging applications for physicians, advanced practice providers, psychologists, therapists, and other licensed professionals.
• Manage a portfolio of up to 120 active facility applications and reappointments.
• Monitor application status and follow up with facility offices to expedite processing.
• Coordinate with providers to obtain required documentation, signatures, licensure updates, and other information with HR.
• Maintain accurate electronic records within credentialing software.
• Track expiration dates for licenses, certifications, DEA registrations, malpractice insurance, and other documents.
• Ensure applications are complete, accurate, and submitted according to facility requirements.
• Communicate status and items to providers and leadership weekly.
• Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and organizational policies.
• Assist with process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce turnaround times.
