Job summary

Amgen is seeking a Medical Science Liaison (IgG4 - Rare Disease) to serve as a scientific liaison to the medical community and to establish, develop, and maintain relationships with prominent experts and clinicians across the United States. The role covers a territory that includes North/Central Florida.

You will communicate the scientific and medical value of products, collaborate with multiple functions, and support external speaker programs.

Qualifications

• Doctorate, or master's with 3 years Medical Affairs experience, or bachelor's with 5 years.
• Pharm.D., Ph.D., M.D. or D.O. preferred credentials.
• Strong oral and written communication and networking skills.
• Willingness to travel up to 60% and ability to learn new business applications.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a scientific liaison to the medical/scientific community and establish, develop, and maintain relationships with experts and clinicians across the US.
• Communicate scientific/medical information and commercial value of products to audiences.
• Prioritize and work effectively in a self-directed environment with evolving needs.
• Collaborate with functional areas to address opportunities with scientific and health-economic information.
