Job summary

Ascendis Pharma is seeking a Medical Science Liaison to serve as the external scientific expert in Medical Affairs. This field-based role communicates clinical and scientific insights, educates healthcare providers about endocrinology products, and builds relationships with key opinion leaders across geography.

The MSL will travel ~50-75% and report to the Director, Field Medical Team. MD/PhD/PharmD, 5+ years pharma experience, pediatric endocrinology or rare disease preferred; strong

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of pharmaceutical experience as a medical science liaison.
• Outgoing with ability to interact with healthcare providers and researchers.
• Strong oral and written communication in virtual and live settings.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the field-based external facing medical representation of Medical Affairs.
• Identify and develop relationships with key opinion leaders and organizations.
• Educate HCPs about disease states and products in the endocrinology portfolio.
• Provide medical/scientific presentations to internal and external audiences.
• Collaborate with MOSLs and cross-functional teams to support regional goals.
• Document activities in the CRM platform and ensure compliance.
