Job summary

Inspira Education Group seeks a Medical School Admissions Consultant to mentor and coach pre-med students through the medical school admissions journey, including AMCAS and AACOMAS processes. This part-time, remote, 1099 contract role can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada.

You will work with applicants to strengthen their profiles, draft essays, and navigate program research and timelines, ensuring alignment with each student’s background and career goals.

Qualifications

• Currently in a residency program (MD or DO).
• Graduated from a U.S. medical school.
• Experience on a medical school admissions committee; involved in decisions.
• Passion for mentorship and coaching pre-med students.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills for essays.

Responsibilities

• Help candidates identify opportunities to build their profile and draft compelling medical school materials.
• Manage relationships with applicants and families; guide essays, resumes, letters, interviews.
• Provide feedback on program research and align with student goals.
• Support students with planning, timelines, and progress tracking using internal tools.
• Stay updated on medical school admissions criteria to advise clients on school selection.
