Job summary

Inspira Education, LLC seeks a Medical School Admissions Consultant to mentor and guide pre-med and medical students through the US medical school admissions process. You will work remotely on a part-time, 1099 contract basis, supporting AMCAS and AACOMAS planning, essays, and program selection for candidates across the United States or Canada.

You’ll collaborate with applicants, families, and coaches to optimize profiles, manage timelines, and provide strategic and tactical admissions guidance.

Qualifications

• Currently in residency in an MD or DO program in the US.
• Graduate of a US medical school.
• Experience on a medical school admissions committee or reviews.
• A passion for mentorship and coaching pre-med students.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Excellent English reading, writing and editing for essays.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience with project management and applicant tracking.
• Background in education, tutoring or mentoring students.

Responsibilities

• Guide applicants through medical school admissions, AMCAS and AACOMAS.
• Draft and refine personal statements, resumes, and essays for candidates.
• Advise on school selection, timelines, and interview preparation.
• Track progress and manage timelines using internal tools.
• Stay current on admissions criteria and program requirements.
