Job summary

Inspira Education Group seeks a BS/MD Admissions Consultant with admissions committee experience to mentor high-achieving students through BS/MD and pre-med paths. This remote, part-time contract role is 1099 and open to candidates across the United States or Canada.

The ideal candidate will guide school selection, essays, resumes, recommendations, and interview prep, while maintaining an authentic voice and meeting timelines.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required.
• Prior admissions committee experience at undergraduate or medical school level.
• Experience mentoring high school students in college applications.
• Familiarity with BS/MD, direct medical, and pre-med admissions processes.
• Proven success guiding students through competitive undergraduate admissions.
• Strong organizational and project management skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Guide BS/MD and direct medical program applicants through admissions process, including school selection, application strategy, essays, resumes, recommendations, timelines, and interviews.
• Help students strengthen academic and extracurricular profiles and develop compelling materials.
• Support students in researching and evaluating best-fit BS/MD, pre-med, and undergraduate programs.
• Provide guidance on personal statements, supplemental essays, and interview prep while preserving authentic voice.
• Support students with project planning, timeline management, and progress tracking using internal tools.
• Stay up to date on BS/MD and undergraduate admissions trends to provide timely guidance.
