Job summary

Inspira Education Group is seeking a Medical School Admissions Consultant. This is a part-time, remote, 1099 contract role that can be based anywhere in the United States or Canada. You will work with pre-med and medical school applicants to track progress, strengthen applications, and guide them through AMCAS and AACOMAS processes.

Qualifications

• Must be currently in residency (MD or DO).
• Graduated from a U.S. medical school.
• Experience on a medical school admissions committee preferred.
• Passion for mentorship and coaching pre-med students.
• Strong planning and organizational skills.
• Strong English reading, writing, and editing skills for medical school essays.
• Strong verbal communication skills.
• Experience in project management and applicant tracking.
• Experience in education, coaching, tutoring, or mentoring students.

Responsibilities

• Identify opportunities for applicants to strengthen profiles and draft compelling medical school application materials.
• Guide students through medical school selection, essays, resumes, letters of recommendation, interviews, and related steps.
• Assist in researching programs and resources aligned with student backgrounds and goals.
• Help students with timeline management and progress tracking using internal tools.
• Stay updated on medical school admissions requirements and nuances to advise clients.
