Inspira Education Group is seeking a Medical School Admissions Consultant who is currently in residency (MD or DO) to mentor and guide pre-med and medical students through AMCAS/AACOMAS and the overall admissions journey.

The role is part-time and remote, allowing candidates anywhere in the United States or Canada to work as a 1099 contractor while helping applicants strengthen their profiles and essays.

Qualifications

• Currently in U.S. medical residency (MD or DO).
• Graduated from a U.S. medical school.
• Experience on a medical school admissions committee.

Responsibilities

• Work with prospective medical school candidates and pre-med students, helping them identify opportunities to build their profile and draft compelling medical school application materials.
• Manage relationships with applicants and families while providing strategic and tactical guidance on medical school selection, essays, resumes, letters of recommendation, interviews, and the overall medical school admissions process.
• Identify optimal medical programs and medical schools for individual students; provide feedback and guidance to students regarding their research on university programs and admissions resources.
• Support students with project planning, application timeline management, and progress tracking through internal tools.
• Stay up to date on the medical school admissions landscape, including program requirements and admissions criteria, to advise clients on school selection.
