Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Performs comprehensive review of patient health records to abstract data.
• Corrects data errors to ensure acceptance in the VA national database.
• Consults with staff for clarification of conflicting data.
• Ensures provider documentation supports diagnoses and procedures coded; uses facility systems to code and transmit data.
