Workit Health is seeking a full-time Medical Payment Poster (Payment Analyst) for a hybrid role. The position supports remittance posting, claims, and payer communications in a clinic setting across Albany, NY; Charlotte, NC; Lakewood, WA; and Missoula, MT.

You will collaborate with multiple departments, using MS Word, Excel, and Google Drive Workspace, and contribute to a compliant revenue cycle with HIPAA standards.

Formación

• Requires a High School Diploma and a minimum of 1 year of current Revenue Cycle experience.
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• CPB certification is a plus.
• Understanding of government rules and regulations and fraud risk in coding and documentation.
• Must be able to work independently and rely on personal knowledge/experience for problem solving; MS Word and Excel experience expected.

Responsabilidades

• Reconciles remittances with deposits for posting.
• Reviews stale claims and obtains remittances for posting or works claim accordingly.
• Escalates payers lacking ERA enrollment to the Manager.
• Assists in reconciliation of missing monies with the RCM Manager.
• Distributes incoming mail to appropriate departments and monitors lockbox for EOBs and payments.
• Addresses billing correspondence and supports pre-payment review with documentation.
