Workit Health is seeking a full-time Medical Payment Poster (Payment Analyst) to join our hybrid clinic team, located in Albany, NY, Charlotte, NC, Lakewood, WA, or Missoula, MT. The role involves posting payments, reconciling remittances, and coordinating with multiple departments in a fast-paced environment.

The ideal candidate has 1+ year Revenue Cycle experience, basic ICD-10/CPT/HCPCS knowledge, and proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Qualifications

• Requires a High School Diploma and at least 1 year in Revenue Cycle.
• Basic knowledge of ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS.
• CPB certification is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and customer service.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel.

Responsabilités

• Reconciles remittances with deposits for posting.
• Reviews stale claims and obtains remittances for posting or works claim accordingly.
• Escalates payers lacking ERA enrollment to the Manager.
• Assists in reconciliation of missing monies.
• Distributes incoming mail to appropriate departments and monitors the lockbox for EOBs, payments and correspondence.
• Addresses billing correspondence and documentation requests.
• Maintains office organization and liaises with landlords and service providers.
• Communicates with physicians, management, employees, and third-party representatives.
• Adheres to HIPAA and company policies, and maintains a professional attitude.
