Job summary

Advocate Health is seeking an Equipment Planner for the Capital Management division. This role oversees budgeting, equipment list development, inventory, meetings, procurement, deployment and activation support within comprehensive project timelines.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate degree and 4+ years in Medical Equipment Planning or related fields, with knowledge of clinical equipment standards and reading architectural drawings.

Qualifications

• Associate degree required.
• 4 years' experience in Medical Equipment Planning or related field.
• Experience in Clinical Engineering, Supply Chain Management or Architectural Medical Planning is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manage all phases of equipment planning: budgeting, inventory, procurement, deployment and activation.
• Ensure compliance with Advocate Health clinical equipment standards throughout projects.
• Develop equipment specifications and coordinate with design teams and vendors.
• Track procurement and budget statuses; report risks and remediation steps.
• Coordinate deliveries and installation with stakeholders to align with the project schedule.
• Assist with budgets and Proforma submissions and maintain standard templates.
