Job summary

Anchor Planning LLC is seeking an Assistant Medical Equipment Planner to support Senior Equipment Planners on healthcare construction and renovation projects. You will assist with equipment decision support, procurement, and logistics, and help manage equipment scope on smaller projects.

The role requires attention to detail, a proactive approach to evaluating medical equipment needs, and the ability to collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of medical equipment planning or related healthcare experience.
• Experience in a healthcare or clinical environment required.
• Exposure to acute care projects; experience supporting large, complex projects is a plus.
• Familiarity with hospital and clinic procedures and department functions.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural drawings.
• Background in project management, construction management, architecture, design, or project strategy planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Support Senior Equipment Planners on multiple healthcare projects and manage the equipment scope on smaller projects.
• Stay current on emerging medical technology trends and build vendor relationships.
• Assist with client recommendations and equipment selection based on service line.
• Communicate equipment planning information clearly to the project team.
