Job summary

Osmosis is seeking physician editors to help build high-quality USMLE-style practice questions and summaries for Step 1 and Step 2. This is a fully remote, contract-based role requiring expert medical knowledge and strong writing/editing skills.

You'll review and revise content for accuracy and educational value, work with medical illustrators, and collaborate with the writing team. A commitment of at least 10 hours per week is expected.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required and USMLE Step 1/Step 2 completed.
• Board certification or near-completion of ACGME residency preferred.
• Strong writing, editing, and attention to detail essential.

Responsibilities

• Review and revise questions and topic summaries for USMLE content.
• Ensure accuracy, readability, and inclusive language in materials.
• Collaborate with medical illustrators to create or source images.
• Attend team meetings and coordinate with the writing team.
• Identify and complete additional content tasks as needed.
