Job summary

Elsevier is seeking Evaluator Subject Matter Experts to review AI-generated medical education content for pre-clinical students and USMLE STEP 1/COMLEX prep. Remote work is available within US time zones, with a commitment of 5–15 hours per week and a minimum of 4 evaluation cycles per year.

Qualifications

• Current PGY-1 resident in a US medical residency program (MD or DO).
• Fourth-year medical student who has passed USMLE Steps 1 & 2 (ACGME-accredited).

Responsibilities

• Evaluate AI-generated content responses covering basic science topics and medical school curriculum.
• Apply evaluation metrics to rate content for accuracy, completeness, relevance, and educational utility.
• Provide expert feedback to ensure content meets learning needs of first and second-year medical students.
• Complete asynchronous evaluations within deadlines (5 days to 2 weeks).
• Participate in quarterly evaluation cycles with potential ad-hoc assessments.
