Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Board certification through ABMS or AOA recognized specialty board
• Specialized Hematology/Oncology with BMT/cellular therapy experience
• 5+ years clinical transplantation/cellular therapy experience
• Experience evaluating clinical literature, guidelines, quality metrics, and outcomes
• Data-driven quality improvement experience
• Knowledge of NCQA/URAC/CMS regulations
• Strong collaboration and communication with multidisciplinary teams
• Demonstrated ability to influence stakeholders through clinical expertise
• Experience with UNOS/NMDP/CIBMTR quality and outcomes reporting
• Proficiency in MS Office tools

Responsibilities

• Serve as clinical SME for solid organ transplantation, BMT, stem cell transplantation, CAR-T, and cellular therapies
• Support benefit coverage determinations and medical necessity reviews
• Evaluate transplant/cellular therapy guidelines and COE criteria
• Interpret emerging clinical evidence and regulatory developments
• Collaborate with stakeholders on quality outcomes and COE qualifications
• Provide clinical consultation for new business opportunities and renewals
• Participate in client meetings and program reviews for transplant services
• Build relationships with client medical directors and transplant centers
• Support provider qualification and performance review for COEs
• Analyze clinical/operational data to identify trends and improvements
• Participate in peer-to-peer discussions on complex cases
• Represent the organization at professional meetings (NMDP/UNOS/SRTR/CIBMTR)
