Lockwood is seeking a Copy Editor to support Managing Editors on dedicated accounts, handling editing, proofreading, data checks, submissions, and other editorial tasks. Collaboration with Traffic Management and the lead editor will guide priorities.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least 5 years of medical editing experience, with publications experience and EndNote proficiency preferred. Flexible work location includes remote or Stamford, CT headquarters.

Formación

• At least 5 years of medical editing experience.
• Experience in medical editing required; experience with multiple therapeutic areas and media formats preferred.
• Publications experience required.
• Experience with EndNote required.

Responsabilidades

• Supports Managing Editors and aligned teams to address daily and evolving needs.
• Maintains knowledge of style guidelines for accounts (AMA, Chicago, client-specific).
• Contributes to Editorial SOP updates and team requests.
• Addresses CE-related questions from scientific directors and team members.
• Reviews content for grammar and style with a focus on sense and storytelling.
