Job summary

Lockwood, a medical communications partner, seeks an experienced Copy Editor to support Managing Editors on dedicated accounts, editing, proofreading, data checking, and submissions. The role coordinates with the lead editor and Traffic Management to meet daily needs and evolving priorities.

You will maintain knowledge of style guidelines (client-specific, AMA, Chicago), contribute to Editorial SOP updates, and ensure timely communication with Accounts, Scientific, and third-party contributors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree is required and at least 5 years of medical editing experience.
• Experience with multiple therapeutic areas and media formats preferred; publications experience required.
• Proficiency with EndNote is required.
