Job summary

AAPC is seeking CPC or COC certified adjunct instructors to facilitate our Live Virtual Internship (LVI) course. This is a remote contract position aimed at experienced professionals who can guide students through real-world medical record analysis and accurate code application using EMR navigation.

Top applicants will have at least 2 years of teaching experience (online preferred) and a strong healthcare business background.

Qualifications

CPC or COC credentials required.
Minimum 2 years of online teaching experience.
At least 3 years in healthcare business experience.
Practicode experience preferred.
Proficient in navigating an EMR system.
Strong interpersonal, communication, and time-management skills.

Responsibilities

Facilitate online curriculum through Black Board platform and Practicode by AAPC.
Monitor and measure student participation, attendance, and completion of cases.
Record attendance.
Respond to student queries and provide relevant and timely feedback.
Adhere to all program faculty policies and procedures.
Participate in faculty meetings and contribute to process improvement efforts.
