Job summary

CorroHealth, Inc. is seeking a Coding Specialist to join our remote team. You will provide CPT, HCPCS and ICD-10-CM coding across multiple specialties, supporting professional fee, facility, or HCC coding.

The role requires AHIMA or AAPC certification, at least 6 months of coding experience, and proficiency with EMR, CPT/ICD-10-CM references, Excel and Outlook. You will work from home with strict accuracy and productivity targets.

Qualifications

• Coder must be certified through AAPC CPC/COC or AHIMA CCS/CCS-P.
• Minimum 6 months of on-the-job coding experience.
• Must have reliable internet and a phone, plus CPT and ICD-10-CM references.
• Proficiency in Excel and Outlook is required.
• Maintain 95% productivity and 95% quality.
• Ability to work from home independently.

Responsibilities

• Provide coding services for clients across CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10-CM.
• Calculate Outpatient ProFee E/M levels.
• Apply ICD-10-CM diagnosis codes to highest specificity.
• Apply codes using ICD-10-PCS, CPT, and HCPCS.
• Interpret coding guidelines to ensure accurate code assignment.
• Adhere to AHIMA Standards of Ethical Coding and Company Code of Ethics.
