Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years pro fee coding with at least 3 years in the assigned specialty.
• CPC or CCS-P credential required.
• Epic and PB Resolute experience preferred.
• EM coding experience for the specialty is required.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate and resolve coding edits in Epic WQs and related queues.
• Review documentation and assign CPT, HCPCS, ICD-10 codes and modifiers.
• Evaluate coding bundling guidelines and modifier usage.
• Communicate coding/denial trends to leadership.
• Provide education to providers and coders within the department.
• Perform quality assurance audits and help improve workflows.
