Cotiviti is hiring full-time remote coders to perform daily audits of provider appeals, ensuring completeness and accuracy per coding guidelines. The role requires CPC/CCS certification, 1–2 years of coding experience, and adherence to HIPAA.

Training runs 9:00–17:00 ET for about 30 days with 100% attendance expected. The position offers remote work anywhere in the continental US, with a day shift schedule and potential discretionary bonus.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• National medical coder certification (CPC/CCS) required.

Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits on provider appeals for completeness and accuracy.
• Apply client-specific coding guidelines when applicable.
• Stay current on coding guidelines and use Cotiviti tools for CV appeals.
• Communicate findings and questions to Team Lead and QA.
