Job summary

Cotiviti seeks a Coding Validation Analyst I to perform daily audits on client data to ensure coding accuracy and proper reimbursement. The role requires strong organization and KPI focus, with 24/7 style shift coverage across the continental US.

Remote work is supported after training. Ideal candidates hold an RN license with 2 years of direct patient care, plus coding certification (CCS/CCP-C preferred) and MS Office proficiency.

Qualifications

• Active RN license in current state (BSN preferred).
• 2 years direct patient care experience.
• Coding certification preferred or must obtain within 1st year.
• Must obtain NY Independent Insurance Adjuster licensure within 4 months.
• Strong knowledge of medical procedures and coding terms.
• Proficient MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Responsibilities

• Perform daily audits on client data for coding accuracy to ensure reimbursement and meet KPI goals.
• Respond to provider appeals and meet client turnaround times.
• Provide feedback to Management/Development on edits to improve efficiency.
• Familiarize with CMS, Medicaid rules, ICD-10, CPT/HCPCS through training.
