Responsabilités

• Assign ICD-10-CM and CPT/HCPCS codes for various specialty service accounts and abstract data elements for billing and regulatory purposes
• Review medical records for documentation accuracy and communicate with providers to clarify details for proper coding
• Resolve claim edits related to emergency department encounters and assist with coding errors for outpatient visits as needed
