Medical Claims Specialist - Remote

• Fully Remote for Central Valley candidates

Candidates must attend occasional training sessions and meetings in Fresno, CA

What We Offer You :

• Hourly rate: $18.00 - $20.00, based on experience
• Remote position with several weeks of initial training in the office

Key Qualifications :

• Experience: 1-2+ years in reviewing and processing medical, dental, and vision claims
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in data entry, Microsoft Office, Outlook, and relevant software
• Knowledge: Strong understanding of data entry coding and medical claims processing

Your Responsibilities Will Include :

• Understanding employee benefits for medical, dental, and vision plans
• Comparing claims data with policy files and records for accuracy
• Referring questionable claims to investigators or adjusters
• Communicating with agents and claimants to correct errors or omissions
• Reviewing claims adjusters' reports to assess coverage and liability
• Contacting doctors or attorneys to resolve claims or coverage issues
• Performing additional duties as assigned
