Job summary

Infinx is seeking a Revenue Cycle Specialist to accurately process medical billing claims and resolve discrepancies for timely reimbursement. This role requires attention to detail, knowledge of medical terminology, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

You will review and submit claims, follow up with payers, handle appeals, and maintain billing records while collaborating with diverse healthcare clients from a remote location.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 5 years of insurance AR and post-claim follow-up experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance industry.

Responsibilities

• Processing insurance billing and collections incl. Medicaid/Medicare claims per policies.
• Reviewing, verifying, and submitting insurance claims.
• Responding to patient requests and payer inquiries.
• Following up with payers to ensure timely payments.
• Investigating unresponsive claims and resubmitting when needed.
• Handling claim denials and filing appeals for maximum reimbursement.
• Answering calls and resolving billing issues; maintaining records.
