Job summary

Infinx, a fast-growing technology solutions provider for healthcare, seeks a Revenue Cycle Specialist to process and manage insurance billing and collections. You will support patients with billing questions and help collect balances while collaborating with ACS clients across multiple accounts.

This role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and strong communication to ensure timely reimbursements. Reporting to the Office Manager, you will handle review and submission of claims, patient information

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience in insurance AR and post-claim follow up.
• Physician claim billing experience preferred.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and insurance industry essential.
• Proficient grammar, spelling, punctuation and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Performs various functions in the processing of insurance billing and collections, including Medicaid/Medicare claims according to the established policies and procedures
• Collects and enters patient's insurance information into ACS Compumed System
• Reviews, verifies, and submits insurance claims
• Processes correspondence from Third Party Payors and responds to patient requests
• Follows up with insurance companies and ensures claims are paid in a timely manner
• Resubmits insurance claims that have received no response
• Answers telephones and provides/obtains information to resolve billing and collection issues
• Maintains supporting billing information for future reference or audit purposes
