Job summary

Capital Medical Group, a UHS subsidiary, is seeking a Call Center Specialist to support a Pain Medicine practice. This remote role handles patient calls for scheduling, registration, and insurance information, using Epic to update records and route requests efficiently.

The position requires strong customer service, data entry accuracy, and knowledge of scheduling guidelines. Work hours are 8:00–16:30 or 8:30–17:00 with a patient-centric, collaborative team approach.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Healthcare customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience in a medical office or patient-facing Healthcare environment is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient access support for appointment scheduling and registration.
• Enter and update patient information in Epic with accuracy.
• Verify insurance eligibility and explain financial responsibilities.
• Route calls to appropriate clinical or administrative departments.
• Promote patient access tools and MyChart online services.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance.
